Can dream interpretation be a valid method for self-growth?

The answer is: Yes.

But there are different types of dreams.
- We all go 'to the other side' in our dreams,
but we do not always remember those visits.

- Then there are also dreams, where our subconscious
is simply working through our day to day experiences.

- And of course there are also dream visitations from passed over souls.
Either with a direct message for us, or simply to 'show themselves' to us.

An understanding of our dreams is the most direct way
of tapping into this cosmic intelligence.
Some might consider this a slightly easier method when compared to other means such as clairvoyance training and other psychic developments.
Purely as we all dream every night.
However natually you can also tap into your soul's knowledge
in meditations for example.

+ Interestingly, dream interpretation can also be applied in those other areas too.
It can be and has been used successfully to interpret the symbols of our clairvoyant vision while in meditation. Understanding the symbology can assist one in bridging a transition onto higher and more abstract means of knowing.

+ To do this, you inner and innate available intuition is usefull and needed.
So naturally you could 'look up' certain symbols in dreams,
but your own inner feeling about it, will give you the answer
of its correctness and accurate application to your dream.

+ Asking the angels to guide you through your dreams and let you remember them when wakening, before you go to bed, is usefull, too.
+ As well as asking for a dream visition from a passed loved one,
if that's what you like to have.

Bottom line is, we all dream every night and we CAN use those dreams as tools, rather than just let them pass us by :-).
So, why not give it a try.
Start your dream experience, by having pen and paper nearby,
when you wake and immediatly write down your dream,
for you to 'intuitively' interpret your dream later, during the day.

Some general useful info:
++ Any dream that leaves you distraught and that was unpleasent is always your subconscious working through your thoughts/day etc.
A dream visitation or you remembering being on the other side,
will always be uplifting and positive.

++ Every night we all also ALWAYS go to the other side, even if we have no recollection of it EVER. Our souls simply do this, to 're-charge' so to speak, as being in the physical world like here on Earth, where energies are extremely dense, our souls need this thus do it daily :-).

And a useful tip:
++ when experiencing recurring nightmares/night terrors
or simply not being able to fall asleep,
place an amethyst crystal under your pillow or wear an amethyst bracelet
or other amethyst jewellery.
However be aware that you WILL consciously remember your dreams
with that quite vividly,
but it can help to make the dreams more positive for you, too.

Our souls are on an evolution starting from the very initial incarnation.

And through these many life times we get closer and closer to our divine consciousness once again.

With those tools our consciousness can experience this different state much,
much quicker and more directly, too.

There are also tools to provide healing and blessings for us, but becoming consciously aware
and with this changing our lives is the very first step.

Our conscious memory of our divine past is taken from us, willingly, simply so we can make human experiences, as this is the reason for our incarnations in the first place.
Without our memory being taken, we wouldn't go for those human experiences at all.
But we have our own free will still daily as well.
And it's up to us to choose daily how we like to be and live.

But as our Soul and our Guardian Angels have this knowledge of us,
so by connectiong to both Soul and Angels,
we can improve of becoming consciously aware of it all.

We don't own our children, our husbands, and wives, our lovers, our friends.

We each are on our own deeply personal and individualistic journeys stopping by planet earth for a moment in time/space to learn, grow, expand and then, move on to the next, and the next, and the next adventure. We assign roles to those closest to us to help reflect and magnify the aspects within us either connected or sometimes, deeply disconnected to our SELF, our Source.

Ultimately this journey is a journey back to the great I AM, that part of us that has forgotten who It IS.

You answer to you and you alone.
YOU control your destiny and yours alone.
YOU create your own suffering and your own happiness, and yours alone.

Expecting another to fill your void is control albeit very subtle at times.
'If you behave this way I will feel better about myself.
Please change YOU to make ME more comfortable, happier, with me.'

You not following your path (even if it means leaving our children, lovers, partners behind) is not always an easy choice but I promise you this...
If you dare to follow your heart it will not lead you astray and those who are silently watching you fulfill the dreams and desires of your heart will either love you or scorn you (which is nothing more than them angry at themselves for not following theirs.)

You are so much stronger than you believe yourself to be and you do NOT need the approval or praise from others. Again, all paths are right paths, ALL choices truly are the right choices.

Life is perspective and the more opinions you seek the more wobble you will feel.

TRUST that your heart knows best even when your head can't make sense of it all and allow those you love to do the same.

When you find yourself sharing advice or offering an opinion that is different from those you are in conversation with,
LOVE THEM, LISTEN TO THEM and SUPPORT THEM even if it means leaving YOU behind.

Live your dreams. Follow your heart and NEVER allow the opinions of others to hold you back
from fulfilling all that YOU meant to fulfill here even when leaving those you love behind.

And as another loving idea:
staying away from social media helps usually quite a bit on such a path, too ;-)

~ What is spirituality? ~

Recently I was surprised when someone asked me what spirituality actually is,
as they didn't get it at all.

So for anyone who also wonders about his, here a brief explanation.

Spirituality is the holistic understanding that we are more than just our physical bodies.
That we are body, mind a n d soul.

It also means that we understand what life is really about,
what our soul tasks are and to live accordingly.
So in a way understanding, what our real truth in life is.

This also means that our death isn't the end. Looking at it quite logically.
According to quantum physics, we consist of 4% body and the rest of 96% is our spiritual self.
Now, when we die we only leave that 4% body behind, but still remain with our 96% spiritual self.
And so dying is simply a change of our state, but not an ending,
this cannot even be, as we (= our souls) exist eternally.

If we like, we will also meet all our loved ones, on the other side.
It works like this: whatever we think we will experience after death, will we see there.

Subsequently this naturally means that we all also incarnate all of the time.
There are actually many scripts and resources on this and one can even notice
the past life experiences in our current lives.

Now, by getting what our very unique soul path is all about in this incarnation,
helps immensely, as our soul will walk this path no matter what.
Whether we walk this path fully aware and conscious or
only unknowingly staggering through our life behind it.

With this knowledge one knows our way, also why for example illnesses happen
and what would help or what won't.
It's also about understanding our karma and the universal laws that apply for all of us at all times.
Finally there is also our free will in life.

Everything is an experience.

We eat and experience this reality of food entering our body.

We are scared and experience feeling paralized.

The cards of life are variously dealt.
However knowledge helps you to understand the master plan behind it all.

The Divine teaches us that we have it in us to experience love, happiness and glory in every moment,

Naturally there lies the learning as this is quite difficult to do.

By learning how you are meant to cope with this best, will help and assist you immensely.

And it's also helpful to learn whether you are just meant to be going through something

Especially with the current global challenges we all face on Earth,

where our challenges await us, will be unique to our path.
Also what we bring to this life from our past life experiences,
will determine how and what we are meant to experience in this life time and when exactly.

Making yourself aware of all of these facts will help you to deal with your life
and your personal challenges in a more positive and satisfying way.

And the reason why your knowledge about your intended path is so crucial is that only when we know about it, can we follow this path voluntarily.
As your soul will finds its way regardless and always
--- BUT if we don't go there unasked and with full intended purpose
-- we will get forced due to disasters and extreme situations, and those can be avoided.

And that's why it's so important for you to learn about this, your intended and absolute individual path and soul's intention.

Universal laws apply - always

Whatever you focus upon, will increase in your life.

But with this there is a great by-product which is often forgotten.
Yes, quite naturally this applies to you being friendly,

But I like to focus on something else here today.

Whatever a r e a in your life you focus upon,
the more will h a p p e n in that area as well.

Here is an example:
When spending alot of time with spiritual activities
(i.e. reading up on spiritual topics, watching spiritual movies,
listen to spiritual webinars,
meditating, talking to angels, looking into your karma and life purpose etc.)
the more i n s i g h t s and e n l i g h t e n m e n t
you will experience in that area as well.

And all of this will just happen, just like this, without any effort on your part.

Try it, you will be amazed.

And remember that of course this Universal law also works for negative things.
So when only surrounding yourself with sadness, unhappy feelings, illness etc.,
you will notice an increase in upsetting situations in those life areas as well.
And it's a proven fact that those 'sad situations' will make you ill,
when experienced frequently.

So, if you like to experience some great spiritual insights yourself,
and like to experience soul/angelic/divine talk more consciously,
then simply increase your time spent on spirituality in your days.

People use a mandala in a mediation as an aid to channel their thoughts.

The importance of your mental attitude

Keep your mind on the great and splendid thing you would like to do; and then, as the days go gliding by, you will find yourself unconsciously seizing the opportunities that are required for the fulfillment of your desire. Picture in your mind the able, earnest, useful person you desire to be, and the thought that you hold is hourly transforming you into that particular individual you so admire.

Thought is supreme, and to think is often better than to do.

Preserve a right mental attitude the attitude of courage, frankness and good cheer.

We want friends, so we scheme and chase 'cross lots after strong people, and lie in wait for good folks or alleged good folks hoping to be able to attach ourselves to them. The only way to secure friends is to be one. And before you are fit for friendship you must be able to do without it. That is to say, you must have sufficient self-reliance to take care of yourself, and then out of the surplus of your energy you can do for others.

The individual who craves friendship, and yet desires a self-centered spirit more, will never lack for friends.

If you would have friends, cultivate solitude instead of society. Drink in the ozone; bathe in the sunshine; and out in the silent night, under the stars, say to yourself again and yet again, "I am a part of the Universe!" And the feeling then will come to you that you are no mere interloper between earth and heaven; but you are a necessary part of the whole. No harm can come to you that does not come to all, and if you shall go down it can only be amid a wreck of worlds.

Character is the result of two things, mental attitude, and the way we spend our time. It is what we think and what we do that make us what we are.

Your life explained - part B

Living with the knowledge of your purpose in life will make such an immense difference,
that it's far too simple to state its benefits in a sentence or two.

To make it easier to grasp here now to example case files of two people.

Person A: catastrophes, life crises occurring
Person B: -- only the humanly called negative life events happen, but not additional ones,
as one is right on track already

Person A: chronic diseases, illnesses, that doctors cannot find any causes for,
incurable ailments
Person B: -- a healthy person in a healthy body; if there is a phase of illness,
you know immediately what it's all about and what to do to heal yourself, and more importantly even, even beforehand you live differently and subsequently can avoid illnesses all-together.

A's life in general:

continuous pursuit of happiness and worldly success, trying to reach a goal, getting somewhere, but never getting there,
unaware and often unhappy, sad, frustrated, angry, lost, confused, ill
and not knowing why or how to change this.

B's life in general:

absolute contentment, happiness despite of any challenge, as you are there already, you are home, you are on track, it's a total relief, a burden off one's shoulder, you know the why and the when, the search is over so the speak, you know why you are here and you follow that purpose,
with it less drama and negativity enters your life, being enlightened and inspired.

Your life explained - part A

We all have thought or will at some point in our life, some of the following:
'I don't want this / I don't like me / I don't want this situation / I don't want this pain /
I don't want this hassle / I don't want to have this problem etc.'

Living is like experiencing a plane crash, with a limited time to survive.

Think of a plane emergency situation, where for example you'd be forced to fly the plane.
In such instant, you don't have a lot of time to wail about:
' I don't like or want this now' - or even if you do think this,
you better get on with whatever possible action plan you have
to possibly survive or improve the situation.

In life it's the same.
Whether you like this (current situation, you, pain, hassle, problem etc.)
doesn't really matter,
you better get used to it and get on with your life,
as your time in this incarnation is limited, too.

But there is a great advantage in life to the situation of a plane emergency.
During such emergency you are likely to only be dealing with hours,
if that, more likely with minutes.

However in life usually you are dealing with years.
And so you have the chance to even prepare yourself in the best possible way,
and most effectively, to find out about your soul's intentions for your life.
With that knowledge you can speed up difficult situations, deal with things better,
and basically know straight away or even in advance
what it's all about and what you are supposed to be doing.

Always remember, in life, if you don't like yourself for example, you'll have a problem.
As wherever you turn and go, there you are, even in your mirror.

So, start loving yourself and get on with it all, and your life, in accordance with your soul's plan :-)

A wonderful story about kindness and friendship

There once was a little girl who had a bad temper.
Her mother gave her a bag of nails and told her that every time she lost her
temper, she must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the girl had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next few weeks, as she learned to control her anger,
the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
She discovered it was easier to hold her temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the girl didn't lose her temper at all.
She told her mother about it and the mother suggested that the girl now
pull out one nail for each day that she was able to hold her temper.

The days passed and the young girl was finally able to tell her mother
that all the nails were gone.

The mother took her daughter by the hand and led her to the fence.
She said, "You have done well, my daughter, but look at the holes in
the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in
anger, they leave a scar just like this one." You can put a knife in a
person and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say
I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

In a yantra the following shapes and patterns are used:
squares, triangles, circles, floral patterns, lines, dots.

Mandala, being a Sanskrit word, means in its translation 'circle'.

that helps you to stay focused on the meditation and avoid drifting away with your thoughts.

10 ways to start taking control of your life
by increasing your positive thinking

The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your colleagues are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts
Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

6. Get rid of the "ANTs"
In his book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life," Dr. Daniel Amen talks about "ANTs" - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like "Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me," or "The boss wants to see me?
It must be bad!" When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and get rid of them!

7. Practice Hugging / Touching (Your Friends and Family)
You don't have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn't touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Negative Pondering
If you find yourself getting into a downward spiral when pondering, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Negative pondering is like hyper-focus on something negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

How to mentally clean your aura

There are 7 layers in our aura.
When we use meditation and try to 'clean' it, we have to clean every layer.
Many new age mystics just tell you imagine and visualise a white light coming down and covering your entire aura, unfortunately this sometimes doesn't work too well.

It is more beneficial to clean every layer as you go along.
Start by doing some kind of relaxation activity like counting 1 to 10 or say to yourself:
"My breathing is relaxed, I am relaxed." over and over again until you feel bored and sleepy,
or you can listen to some easy relaxation music
to help you get to a relaxed state of mind and body.

Once you done that, mentally say to yourself: "I am at level 1" and move your awareness
from head to toe or vice versa, the idea is to scan your level 1 for blockages,
once you sense something there, move your awareness to it, it should
'melt' or disperse. If it is still there, try breathing in colurs, you
have to experiment with the colour that will remove the block, repeat the
same procedure with all other level, i.e. "I am level 2","I am in Level 3"

When you say this, you are telling your mind to adjust to the next level
using intent. Intent is the force that changes the level.

Aura
~ colours of energy around all of us ~

We all experienced this: we feel uncomfortable in crowded places.
There are moments when you feel as if your space is being invaded.
Some people can only come so close to you.
This is a reaction triggered by your aura.
As it is possible that someone else's aura is intruding upon yours.

Our aura is a strong electro- magnetic field. We give off electrical energy and absorb magnetic one. So subsequently at times, we feel uneasy in the presence of a certain person.
You enter a room and you have this sense that something is wrong.
You can feel this energy force in a room full of people, where varying energies,
positive and negative are being intercharged.

When people are comfortable with one another,
their aura tend to complement each other in an attractive manner.

The aura is an extension of our energies, be it strong or weak, fair or otherwise, light and bright or dull and dense. It is a band of energy that surrounds us, a life energy that can be sensed around every living thing, plants, trees, animals, and people.

There are seven layers of aura, but the most accessible to the human perception
are the first three layers surrounding the human body.

Auras can be seen with the eyes wide open.
It can also be seen psychically with the eyes closed.

Those who can see aura mostly observe the mental and etheric layers.
These are the colourful layers of the aura.

Physical Aura
Closest to the body is the physical aura. It represents the body's physical growth, strengths and weaknesses, physical sensations, pleasant and unpleasant.
This band is very strong in athletes and people who are in touch with themselves, the ones who enjoy life's pleasures like food, comfort etc.

Mental and Emotional Aura
Moving away from the body is the second layer. This reflects the person's emotional moods and mental feelings, about how one feels about oneself. Any block in this area slows down the flow of energy. This part of the aura is changeable and fluctuates through the day, depending on the mental and emotional stimulations one feels.

Spiritual Aura
This part of the aura reflects the energy of the spirit and its development. The colour on this level is most distant. Mental laziness shows in this area.
Negative thoughts accumulated over time shows in this area.
It is believed that yellow is the predominant colour at this level.

Reading the Aura
The above mentioned aura layers can be read separately or in conjunction with each other.
The colours are not physically separated by a line or space between them. They seem to fuse or change into one another. One colour may be more dominant than others.

As one develops the ability to read auras, viable information can be derived from the different levels. There is no hierarchy of judgement involving the colours and their placement in the aura. The colours are only indicators of the person's current state, can be read to strengthen the positive and / or help alleviate problems.

Remember, as living things change, so do the energy fields. As we develop, as we solve our problems, as we work through inhibiting blocks, we continue to balance our energies.

Exercise:
Auras can be best seen under a soft light. So try to detect your own aura
by looking at a mirror against a light coloured background with dim lighting.

Look beyond the object and do not focus on it. Auras are observed more prominently around the hands, between the shoulders, neck and head area.
Even try this exercise with a friend, it will help you to detect your first visual of the aura.

If unsure about it, try to feel the energy field around the shoulders and head of the other person first. Though you will also visually see it, the energy field is felt as a thick layer of air; and some people find it easier to start with that impression first.

When reading an aura, do no stop yourself after sensing the colours. Recognizing the colours is only the first step. Verbalize what you see, this not only defines what you see, it enhances the flow of your intuition and helps with an insightful reading.

You could see one colour, or a combination thereof.
The colours may grow stronger or brighter after a while, too.
Try it out often and you will master the skill of reading auras effortlessly.

The colours of the aura changes due to our moods and feelings, but also our open (freely spinning) or blocked chakra points influence these colours.

Learning about the aura can help you to raise your intuitive abilities.

- a date, for your guests to visit you
- perhaps a buffet or a set table with food and drinks
- You prepare a corner or a spare room with the following for the psychic readings:

We are celebrating our 15th company anniversary this year (2011),
for offering guidance services worldwide by phone, skype or email.

Angel message on meditating:

The angels have guided me to include some lines about meditating this time.
Meditating is to calm your mind. It's in a way just relaxing your body and mind.

But for this the angels would like to stress the following:
meditating can be really helpful for everyone, but a 'correct' meditation does not have to last for hours on end. Even a few minutes once and again or daily will have a rather positive effect on you.

Here are some helpful guidelines for you:
-sit or lie yourself down comfortably and where you will be undisturbed
during your meditation
-concentrate yourself on your breathing
-after a few conscious breaths, take in how your entire body relaxes,
i.e. make yourself aware that your legs relax, your arms relax etc.
-should you suddenly think about a 'thousand' things, just concentrate yourself again on
your breathing, saying to yourself in your mind: "breath in" and "breath out".

With practice this quick meditation will enable you to relax much quicker and deeper.
Then you could also ask a question beforehand (to your soul or the universe).
After the meditation, just write down what comes to your mind first,
you might be surprised, as this might be the answer to your question.
But also without any specific question, with any meditation you always give yourself the opportunity to receive great insights from your own soul.

It's a fact that phone/skype readings are much more accurate than face-to-face readings
as during a phone/skype reading the reader does not have any distractions
and can therefore focus the psychic gifts much more accurately!

As everyone will want to have their individual reading in a private setting, even during a party, this skype option works wonderfully, as everyone would be 'going to the laptop' only,
to have their private reading. Afterwards joining the people on the party/event once again.

Some more notes on managing your time:

We all always only have 24 hours per day, though we often seem to think otherwise. Trying to get it all done, like work, family, diet/exercise/health, recreation, hobbies, friends, study often prooves to be a daily and life long struggle.

Here are some simple but helpful pointers that you might not have thought about or haven't thought about recently:

- Make a list.
When there are lots of things to be done, it can be helpful to right them all down.
This way you will be forced to be honest with yourself, as there might be different things on the list than you anticipated.

- Try to plan your day ahead.
By doing so you will have the chance to pre-choose the order of your activities, rather than getting into a struggle while doing them. Try to alternate 'not so much liked tasks' with fun tasks. There is no use for you trying to have a relaxed and stress-free day when you are busy, if you only fill your day with grinding tasks.
Fun tasks will help you to stay relaxed and also give you something to look forward to while being on a more boring task.

- Combine tasks
Combining tasks can be fun but can also save you time.
Examples.:
When doing the dishes -- listen to your favourite radio station or your favourite music.
When doing ironing -- watch some TV.
While doing some filing -- listing to some relaxing and liked music or even an audio book, or some language CDs (if you try to learn a language) or some motivational CDs etc.
Taking a bath -- read a book, listen to some relaxing music etc.
Whatever your tasks may be, I am sure there are several you can combine with something else, just try it. You might not even realise so much that you are actually supposedly doing a boring task this way.

-Pray for the best
Some people say "Time management won't help me. I just close my eyes and pray for the best." True praying is a good thing, however by struggling alot with time shows that your soul chose this particular area to work on, thus by not tackling it, it will not give you the anticipated learning experience. Yes, praying always activates divine power, but if a soul chose to having to deal with time issues in a life, praying alone will not overcome the time issue, I am afraid. But time management - if nothing else- can help you to be less stressed and more relaxed after each day and this should be worth it.
Naturally if there are too many tasks on your list for each day, no matter what you do, you will not be able to finish the list each day. But in those situations it's a matter of being stressed and getting ill over it, or being relaxed and healthy despite that long and never ending list :-).

-Just do it.
Always postposting a task that needs to be done causes you stress and a guilty feeling. As it's not going to keep you in a relaxed state going to bed at night with a dreaded task still hanging over your head and waking up with the first thought surrounding that exact, still not started/finished task.

-Get some help.
This might not always be possible due to the type of task or your financial situation, but remember that you do not have to do it all alone. And even if there are some financial strains stopping you to be able to hire someone for a specific task, what about exchanging a task with a friend? Perhaps your friend loves ironing but dislikes filing etc. Have a think, there might be some tasks that could be easily swapped with your friends. Give it a try.

Some basic but very helpful pointers on managing your time:

Time Management such a big word.
But we all, everyone of us, is actually doing it on a daily basis. Whether it's in our professional or private life. Young ones and older ones, we all do it.

But as the day always only has 24 hours and with sleeping, eating and set times for work/studying/schooling etc. it's never a wasted effort trying to organise one's time
a little bit better or at least a bit more efficiently.

i) Make priorities
Whatever you need to do following this rule is essential. Very often this is where people get stuck as they are starting off with a not really important task and find themselves not having enough time with something that needed to be done on that day or so.

ii) Tidy your house / work station
An untidy desk with lots of documents on it, as well as an untidy room with stags of piles of washing done or not done yet, tells your subconscious that here (in this house / at your desk) etc. alot of work is still needed to be done. And so you will end up with a guilty conscious that you could have counteracted by just keeping the house / desk less packed and well organized.

iii) Check your inner clock
Check the time and close your eyes. Then only open them again once you feel five minutes have past. Judging the five minutes having gone by faster than they really have, i.e. opening your eyes before actually 5 minutes past,
shows that your inner clock is ticking too fast.
Our tip: plan more breaks into your daily routines.
Judging the five minutes having gone by slower than they really have, i.e. opening your eyes after 5 actual minutes, shows that you tend to loose yourself in time.
Our tip: Try to capitalize on your inner energy (which you will have) a bit more.

iv) De-stress yourself
It's quite common that after a busy day or week, with us having looked forward to our free time / recreational time / a holiday etc. that we then experience alot of stress while being on that break. Our tip: Make a conscious effort to really like the activities you do during those times and enjoy them as well. Most importantly plan some breaks within those times as well and don't plan to do too many things. Again this will lead you to feeling stressed, trying to fit too much in too little time and afterwards feeling guilty, unhappy and definitely needing a break then :-).

v) Live today
Many people 'waste' time by being sad about their past and being worried about their future. Live today, joyfully and happy. The past you cannot change, the future isnt' there yet, but you can create a good base by living right now.

vi) Face difficult tasks head on (with a smile)
We all tend to try to avoid starting with a difficult task. However the longer we wait the more aggrevation we will have built up. And let's put it this way,
the earlier you start, the sooner it will be done.

vii) Don't try to be perfect
Always keep in mind you are human and you cannot possibly do 'everything' in one day. Trying to be perfect will make you feel guilty and work against your self-esteem as you will feel like a failure, when not having finished it all.

viii) Always remember you are the master of your own time
By always saying or thinking 'I don't have time', you forget this.
As by saying this (though of course we all do it) you allow your filofax or diary
to rule your life. Take back control of your life.
